Akureyri Iceland, September 22-25, 2005

 

LOCATION AND PRACTICAL INFORMATION

The town of Akureyri in North Iceland is a thriving coastal town with a population of 16.000.  Akureyri is Iceland's largest town, located outside the capital area.  The town is a regional service center and is known as a center for education and culture.

Conference venue

The conference is held at KEA hotel, which is located at the heart of Akureyri. KEA’s facilities include a number of conference rooms, a restaurant , and guestrooms (two price categories).

Accommodation

A number of rooms have been reserved for conference participants at KEA hotel.  Conference participants receive a considerable discount from regular prices. The following two options are available at the hotel:

Option one (four stars): Single room ISK 10600, double ISK 13300.

Option two (two stars): Single room ISK 8400, double ISK 10500.
